How We Did It

Split screens are useful effects to show two videos playing at the same time and can be used in many ways. To create a split screen effect on Adobe Premier Pro:

 

1. Firstly open (file- import) and edit the two chosen videos to the length you want and drag your two desired videos into video 1 and video 2 on the timeline.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. You then select the first video and go to video effects. You then drop the scale to 50% and select the next video also dropping the scale to 50%.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. After this you change the position of the image, either in the editor or using the mouse to drag the videos to the appropriate areas.

 

4. Finally render the video and export it as a ‘.mov’.
